It is very important for a marketer to know, which traffic exchanges (TE) are the most effective, and what specific features the best exchanges have.Only on this basis a marketer, who uses traffic exchanges for advertising, can build his plan of advertising and advertising budget (if he buys credits).There are several well known people or services, who rate traffic exchanges. Among them are Jon Olson, Tim Linden, team of Traffic Hoopla, etc.Each of them is using their own methology of rating, and, accordingly, results of evaluation are always different. However, many TE among the best 20 on each list are the same.It is necessary to stress here, that in general these ratings are done from the program owners' point of view and show, what programs are technically the best.Actually, there are too many factors, that must be taking into consideration from the marketer's point of view. I would say that current ratings of traffic exchanges are only the first step.Owners of the old TE compete for customers and introduce important changes very often. Many new traffic exchanges or even traffic networks appear very often. Some of them become favorites very soon due to specific features they include.The purpose of this blog is to review current ratings of the best traffic exchanges, to study these traffic exchanges, to let marketers know their important and unique features. We will also try to specify the most important features of traffic exchanges from marketers' point of view and to show, which programs have these features and can be used in the most effective way.
